Fırat Gümüştekin is a Turkish film director, short film producer and music video director. He was born on March 16, 2000 in the Tarsus district of Mersin and grew up in Istanbul. He grew up in a modest life, supported his family from an early age and developed a deep interest in visual narrative during his adolescence. His creative journey, which began with photography at the age of 15, evolved over time into video and directing.

Acting with the understanding of "You don't show something as it is, you show it more beautiful than it is", Gümüştekin moved from photography to video and then to directing. His visual language has been shaped by both emotional depth and a cinematographic perspective.

His first short film, "Loneliness" (2025), written and directed by himself and starring Banu Karagöz, is a powerful production that tells the story of loneliness through silence. The film was released on YouTube and attracted attention with its minimalist yet impressive narrative.

In the same year, he stepped into the music world by directing his first music video, “Burak Ceyhan – Bana Sor (cover)”. In a short time, he worked with many well-known Turkish artists such as MEG, Çakal, Ceren Sagu, Sagopa Kajmer, Ati242, Motive, Blok3, Kolpa, Velet, Taladro and Era7cappone; he directed concert shoots, live performance videos and official music videos.

As a freelance director, Fırat Gümüştekin provides independent services in the fields of short films, music videos, concert shootings, commercials and post-production. Although he is based in Antalya, he carries out projects in many cities of Türkiye.

Inspired by Christopher Nolan, Gümüştekin's style blends technical mastery with emotional narrative. His work is featured on platforms such as IMDb, Beyazperde and has also been featured in the Turkish media.
